What is Contemplation?
Contemplation is an intellectual vision of loving intention upon the Divine who lovingly dwells within the private oratory of the soul. A hidden sanctuary where we can withdraw into, where Heaven reveals its formless essence, a celestial fragrance that transcends the tumult of temporal life. Saint John of the Cross writes, "Contemplation is a science of love. It is an infused, loving knowledge of God."
